The Trump administration will deny visas to immigrants who cannot prove they will have health insurance or are able to pay for medical costs once they become permanent residents of the United States, the White House announced Friday.
bigO: 1) The headline should reference it as the USS Ford - not just "Ford". Yeah, I might be nit-picking a bit. But, as a former sailor, I think it is important. 3) The sad but simple truth is new lines of ships (which the USS Ford is) always seem to have major issues. The same is really true with any new platform regardless of the branch. Does anyone remember all of the problems with the Ospreys? Lots of people in Congress wanted it shutdown because of all the problems, but the military wanted it because they understood what it meant for the future. As someone who tested new equipment when I served, I can relate (on a smaller scale) to the problems they are having on the USS Ford.
