The last Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll of 2021 will dive deeply into politics, the economy and other current events such as the ongoing strike by Deere & Co. employees.
First up will be a hypothetical 2024 head-to-head matchup between former President Donald Trump, a Republican, and President Joe Biden, a Democrat. Those results will be released at 5:30 p.m. Saturday on DesMoinesRegister.com and will appear in the Des Moines Sunday Register.
Other articles recording the opinions of Iowans — including on a new state law that makes it easier for Iowa workers to be exempted from federal COVID-19 vaccine mandates, on holiday shopping plans, and on whether Iowans think they’re nicer than people in other states — will be published over subsequent days.
Put another way: There will be plenty of fodder for you and your relatives to debate over Thanksgiving Day dinner.
Each article will be published online and in print. The quickest way to receive the results is by signing up for news alerts through the Des Moines Register app. The Iowa Poll is a public service, chronicling the opinions of Iowans since 1943.
