Tropical Storm Nicole: See spaghetti models, path and storm activity for Georgia

Tropical Storm Nicole formed northeast of the Bahamas early Monday morning and is expected to make landfall in Florida Wednesday night. Nicole could reach Georgia's coast Thursday as a Tropical Storm.

Nicole is a large storm, and widespread impacts from a prolonged period of coastal flooding, tropical-storm-force winds, heavy rainfall, rough surf and rip currents, and beach erosion are likely along much of the southeastern United States coast.

Significant coastal flooding is expected with the high tides Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, with minor coastal flooding possible Friday morning as well. Also, locally excessive rainfall is possible, especially Thursday and Thursday night, according to the National Hurricane Center.
