Tristan Thompson Says He's 'Extremely Proud' of Khloé Kardashian
Well, this is one we didn't see coming - but we're glad it did!
Earlier today we talked about Khloé's special bond with her daughter. KoKo appeared on the Divorce Sucks! with Laura Wasser podcast last spring where she opened up about the harsh realities of co-parenting after her breakup with NBA player Tristan Thompson.
Thompson, 28, is father to Kardashian's daughter, True. The child will celebrate her second birthday later this year. Tristan's first child, Prince Tristan Thompson, was born to ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig just after he began dating Khloé in late 2016.

Kardashian and Thompson went through a very public breakup in the spring of 2019 after rumors swirled that Thompson cheated on her with Jordyn Woods, Khloé's half-sister Kylie's best friend. All of this came after Thompson was found guilty of cheating on Khloé while she was pregnant!
Kudos to Khloé for trying to make it work for True's sake, though.
It seems that Thompson isn't "over" Kardashian per se, or at least that he isn't shy about showing respect and support for the mother of his child.
"Extremely Proud!!" Thompson posted to his Instagram story in regards to Khloé's role as executive producer for the upcoming ID series Twisted Love. She previously executive produced it's predecessor, Twisted Sisters. But Tristan's January 16th post wasn't the first time he's been suspected of trying to get Khloé back.
It was confirmed that Tristan bought Khloé a diamond necklace for her birthday last summer, and enlisted the help of her best friend Malika Haqq to make sure the delivery went smoothly.
Tristan's gesture (and Malika's involvement) didn't go over well with some fans who took to Twitter during its airing on Keeping Up WIth The Kardashians. One fan accused Malika and her twin sister Khadijah of being "another type of sketchy" for pushing Khloé back with Tristan. Khloé was not unaware of the cyberbullying and addressed the trolls herself.
"I keep seeing people [criticizing] my best friends. My best friends would never do anything to hurt me. I can say that with full confidence! You guys don’t know the entire story. EVER!! You watch 44 minutes of an episode and really think you know it all. Stop talking about my friends...People love to have an opinion when they’re behind a computer screen. I’m fine with opinions. Just make sure you live the life you so quickly judge others about."

The episode shows Khloé thanking Tristan for the necklace via phone. She then joked with him, saying "you weren’t this nice to me when we were together!"
They might not be together, but at least they're committed to staying on good terms for little True's sake.
