Tristan Thompson Has Been 'Super Supportive' of Khloé Kardashian: He Treats Her 'Like a Queen'

Khloé Kardashian‘s got a keeper in Tristan Thompson.
A source tells PEOPLE that the NBA star has been “super supportive” of his pregnant girlfriend, 33, who will soon give birth to the couple’s first child together: a baby girl.
“Tristan has been super supportive and very actively involved in everything that’s going on,” says the insider. “Khloé feels like she’s being treated like a queen. She doesn’t feel like he takes her or their future family for granted.”
Thompson, 27, is also dad to 15-month-old son Prince Oliver, with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig.

The source adds that Kardashian was “born to be a mother,” and has had a ton of experience with babies considering her many nieces and nephews.
“She’s been very involved as an aunt since the beginning,” the insider explains. “She’s changed diapers and has gotten peed on plenty of times, and she’s also had her sister’s kids stay with her for days on end.”

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star will definitely have assistance with her daughter, but is planning to be an extremely present mom — and will likely differ from sister Kylie Jenner (mom to 6-week-old daughter Stormi) at least somewhat in her parenting style.
“Khloé mostly wants to do things herself when the baby arrives,” reveals the source. “She will have some help for sure but she plans to be extremely hands-on.”
Adds the insider, “She’s also older and more mature than Kylie, so her approach will be different than a very young mom.”
