Trinity Fatu shoots down the rumors.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Bushiroad has not signed Fatu, formerly known as Naomi in WWE, to New Japan Pro-Wrestling or STARDOM due to pressure to keep spending down across the two companies. He noted that they were told they could bring Fatu in, but they felt it would cost too much compared to the return.
Fatu then responded to the report on her Instagram stories and wrote, “Not true” over an excerpt of it.

Fatu recently confirmed her departure from WWE. She was backstage at ROH Supercard of Honor on March 31, seemingly to support her friend Athena, who competed at the show. Fightful Select reports that Fatu was also backstage at Game Changer Wrestling’s Scene of The Crime event on April 22.
