Latin: Three of Latin music's biggest artists are teaming up for a tour. Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull have left an enormous mark on pop music, bringing Latin flavor to club anthems, hip-hop and R&B. You'll recognize many songs on Saturday when the three musicians perform at Acrisure Arena.

The tour features a different running order each night with immense production and visuals.

It's the first time the three musicians have toured together, but they are not unfamiliar tour partners. In 2017, Iglesias paired with Pitbull, while in 2021, the son of Latin megastar Julio Iglesias teamed with Martin for a shared jaunt that also included a fledgling Sebastián Yatra.

If you go: 6 p.m. Friday, Acrisure Arena, 75-702 Varner Road, Palm Desert. Tickets start at $89.95. acrisurearena.com

The Doo Wop project will perform at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, Calif., on Feb. 1, 2024.

Vocal harmonies: Before rock 'n' roll came along, there was a genre of music called doo wop. This genre, featuring an R&B sound of vocal harmonies heard in bands such as The Harptones, The Wrens, The Solitaries and more, captivated young audiences during the 1940s and 1950s. On Thursday at the McCallum Theatre, The Doo Wop project — featuring five vocalists — will perform a mix of classics and "DooWopified" versions of modern pop songs by Jason Mraz, Maroon 5 and more.

If you go: 7 p.m. Thursday, McCallum Theatre, 73-000 Fred Waring Drive, Palm Desert. $55 to $65. (760) 340-2787. mccallumtheatre.com

Slaughter will perform with Great White at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif., on Feb. 2, 2024.

Metal: Are you among the crowd of Slaughter fans living the "Up All Night" life? You'll enjoy this co-headlining show of glam-metal bands Slaughter and Great White on Friday at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. Slaughter features most of its original lineup with the exception of the late lead guitarist Tim Kelly. Named after vocalist Mark Slaughter, the Las Vegas band released its debut album "Stick It to Ya" in 1990 and found immediate success with the singles "Up All Night" and the ballad "Fly to the Angels."

Even though Great White enjoyed a handful of hits during the 1980s such as "Rock Me," "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" and "Save Your Love," the band has endured turbulent years and traumatic events, including a concert fire that killed 100 people and injured over 200. Since the 2010s, there are two versions of the band. The other features original vocalist Jack Russell and performs as Jack Russell's Great White. The current lineup of Great White features original lead guitarist Mark Kendall, Audie Desbrow (drums), Michael Lardie (guitar), Scott Snyder (bass) and Brett Carlisle (vocals).

If you go: 8 p.m. Friday, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, 84-245 Indio Springs Parkway, Indio. $59 to $99. (760) 342-5000. fantasyspringsresort.com

Night Ranger will perform at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa in Rancho Mirage, Calif., on Feb. 2, 2024.

Rock: Ever since Night Ranger released the 1983 single "Sister Christian" from its album "Midnight Madness," the song has enjoyed continued relevance due to constant airplay on classic rock radio stations, use in films such as "Boogie Nights" and "Air" and recognizable chorus asking "What's your price for flight?" But Night Ranger has other hits such as "Rock In America," "Goodbye," "Sentimental Street" and more.

Night Ranger will perform on Saturday at Agua Caliente Resort Casino in Rancho Mirage.

If you go: 8 p.m. Friday, Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa. 32-250 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage. $30 to $95. aguacalientecasinos.com
