Marvel’s latest surefire blockbuster, Black Panther, looks likely to cause a huge box-office roar when the Ryan Coogler-directed adventure hits theaters on Feb. 16. And later this year, fans will be able to unleash their inner jungle cat courtesy of Hasbro’s Marvel Legends line of heroic collectibles. Having already produced replicas of Thor’s trusty hammer Mjolnir (RIP) and Captain America’s star-spangled shield, the toy company is flexing its muscles with a tricked-out, full-scale replica of the helmet worn by Wakanda’s king, T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), when he suits up as the African nation’s No. 1 hero. Yahoo Entertainment has exclusive first look images of this headpiece, coming to stores this fall.
Scheduled to retail for $99.99 at HasbroToyShop.com and other major retailers, the Hasbro-made helmet is wired with nifty electronic features like Vibranium light effects and flip-up eye lenses. It’s also fully adjustable to fit all sizes of noggins. Prepare to fight over who gets to be king of the jungle the next time you assemble your pals for backyard Avengers role-playing games.
The Marvel Legends Black Panther Helmet will be available in fall 2018; Black Panther opens in theaters on Feb. 16.
