It looks like Trey Songz will not be paying $25,000,000 over a sexual assault case where he was accused of raping a woman at a party in 2016. The R&B singer has settled with a Jane Doe for an undisclosed amount.

According to Radar Online, Tremaine Neverson reached out to the courts to inform them of his decision.

“The settlement agreement conditions dismissal of this matter on the satisfactory completion of specified terms that are not to be performed within 45 days of the date of the settlement,” he reportedly stated. “A request for dismissal will be filed no later than June 10, 2024.”

Last year, the unnamed woman sued Songz, Atlantic Records, and his manager Kevin Liles, for allegedly raping and sexually assaulting her during a party in March of 2016. Additionally, he was accused of gender violence, intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, and false imprisonment.

Upon accusations, Songz’s legal team stated at the time, “It isn’t hard to see what’s happening here, and it is a shame for genuine victims of sexual assault.

Aside from this incident, the 39-year-old has also been accused of striking a woman in the face at a strip club in 2012; pulling a woman’s breast out of her bikini top at a party in 2013; choking a woman at his L.A. home in 2017; holding an Instagram model and her friend hostage in his house in 2018; raping a woman at a Las Vegas hotel in 2022; physically attacking a woman in a bowling alley bathroom in the same year; and performing nonconsensual sex acts on two women while they were passed out in his home last year.

However, it is important to note that some of the accusations listed above have been dismissed, settled, or are still pending.
