Will this finally earn Trevor Noah a nasty nickname from Donald Trump?

The Daily Show host, who has been waiting to be the target of one of the president’s online tirades, made a solid effort to poke the bear outside Mar-a-Lago, the Trump-owned estate in Palm Beach, Fla., for this funny photo op. The political comedian’s Comedy Central show is on the road in Florida this week and, despite not being able to swim, he claims he got into the water outside Trump’s “winter White House” for a shot with it in the background. And, no, he didn’t have an invite.

On Twitter, Noah wrote that he decided to pop by the resort, but “unfortunately they wouldn’t let me in.” He quipped, “Luckily there’s no wall around the back” — a reference to the one Trump’s putting up along the country’s southern border to keep out the “rapists.”

On Instagram, Noah answered more questions — like: Yes, that’s really Mar-a-Lago behind him, he insisted. (Many commenters speculated that it’s a pool — and we’re still not 100 percent sold that it’s not.) He joked that that Secret Service was not impressed, but noted that’s not stopping him from “living my best life.”

And, yes, he allowed that he stole the look — with shirt — from Michael B. Jordan’s Vanity Fair cover. But “he can’t swim well,” so he says it was an extra-ambitious undertaking.

His followers agreed:

And the jokes!

Ahead of the midterm elections, The Daily Show is in the Sunshine State for a week of shows at the Fillmore Miami Beach starting Monday night and running through Thursday. It’s a busy couple of weeks — next week, the show will go live on election night.

A couple of months ago, Noah jokingly wondered when it would be his turn to be the target of one of Trump’s rants. “Once again, President Trump is feuding with a famous black person who dared to criticize him,” referring to basketball great LeBron James and CNN’s Don Lemon. “Which makes me wonder: What do I have to do?! Why do you ignore me Donald? Every night I’m out here.” But so far, he hasn’t earned a hateful nickname from the commander in chief — even after recently comparing him to cancer.

Maybe this Mar-a-Lago visit — if it was real and not some pool photo op with a Photoshopped background — will do the trick.
