Trevor Noah Returning As Host Of 2024 Grammy Awards

The Recording Academy has faith in Trevor Noah. For the fourth consecutive year, the 39-year-old has been booked to host the Grammy Awards. Taking center stage during the 2024 ceremony, the stand-up comedian is also a producer of the show.
Noah revealed the news on his Spotify podcast, What Now? With Trevor Noah.
“I think it’s also important to acknowledge something, I’m hosting the Grammys,” Noah explained. “I’m excited about that, yeah, it’s a lot of fun. I enjoy the Grammys because I get to watch the show in person and then experience and comment on it in person while it is happening.”
As he returns to his emcee duties, Noah is also in the running to leave the arena with a golden trophy of his own. The South Africa native is nominated in the Best Comedy Album category for his I Wish You Would release against Chris Rock, Wanda Sykes, Sarah Silverman, and Dave Chappelle.
Overall, SZA leads the 2024 nominee class with nine total nominations, followed by Victoria Monét, Phoebe Bridgers, and mixing engineer Serban Ghenea with seven each. Additionally, the Recording Academy will debut at the 2024 Grammys: Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album, and Best Pop Dance Recording.
The 66th annual Grammy Awards are set to take place in Los Angeles on Feb. 4, 2024. The annual event will broadcast live from Crypto.com Arena on CBS and Paramount+. Watch Trevor Noah’s announcement below.
