Trevor Noah compares Trump's China trip to 'The Bachelor'

On The Daily Show With Trevor Noah, the host spoofed President Trump by comparing his recent trip to China to an episode from The Bachelor. In a silly video, The Daily Show put Trump’s head and President Xi Jinping’s head on two bachelor bodies during the rose ceremony. Trump chose to give a rose to Xi, saying, “Our meeting last night was absolutely terrific. Our dinner was beyond that.”

When Trump was on the campaign trail he had quite a few disparaging things to say about China, including, “We can’t continue to allow China to rape our country — and that’s what they’re doing.” So it was a bit ironic to see him golfing, dining, and watching operas with President Xi.

Noah said, “That’s all good and well and really romantic, until Trump gets home, turns on the lights, finds Putin waiting for him like, ‘Enjoy your little trip, Donald? I saw the video. Who is Xi?'” To be sure, Trump was definitely in China for all the right reasons, and here’s hoping that the two make it to the Fantasy Suite.

The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 on Comedy Central.
