Former MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer and Lindsey Hill, the woman who accused him of sexual assault in 2021, have settled litigation over the dispute.

On Monday, attorneys representing Bauer, 32, said, "Trevor Bauer and Lindsey Hill have settled all outstanding litigation," in a statement shared with PEOPLE. "Both of their respective claims have been withdrawn with prejudice, effective today."

Bauer's attorneys, Jon Fetterolf and Shawn Holley, added that the athlete has "never made" payments to Hill, "including to resolve their litigation," they said. "With this matter now at rest, Mr. Bauer can focus completely on baseball."

Hill accused the former Dodger of sexually assaulting her twice in California in 2021, leading to a significant suspension from the MLB for Bauer. According to ESPN, the defamation lawsuit filed by Bauer against Hill in 2022 has also been resolved.

Lawyers for Hill issued a statement on her behalf to ESPN. "In April 2022, Trevor Bauer sued Lindsey Hill for defamation. In what turned out to be an outstanding resolution for Lindsey, neither Lindsey nor anyone on her behalf paid anything to Bauer. Not a single dollar."

Hill's attorney went on to explain that she was awarded $300,000 from her insurance company. "Based on that payment, Lindsey agreed to settle the lawsuit. Now that the lawsuit is over, Lindsey looks forward to helping others," her attorney said in a statement issued to ESPN.

PEOPLE has reached out to Hill's attorneys for comment.

Hill is one of four women who have accused the former pitcher of sexual assault, with allegations in California, Ohio and Arizona, and dating back to his minor league career in 2014.

In June, a fourth woman accused Bauer of sexual assault in Scottsdale, Ariz. The alleged victim claimed Bauer "violently sexually assaulted” and raped her, and that he got her pregnant, according to the suit, which was filed in Maricopa County Superior Court in December 2022 and updated in June. Bauer countersued and alleged extortion, according to USA Today, which first reported the woman's lawsuit.

The Dodgers released the former pitcher following the accusations and he has not received a contract from other MLB teams. Bauer has since joined the Nippon Professional Baseball league in Japan, where he plays for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars.
