Travis Scott has a real concert date booked for Detroit: The Houston rapper will play Little Caesars Arena on Dec. 12, part of of his just-announced Circus Maximus Tour.

The tour, announced by Scott on his social media accounts Tuesday evening, is named for his earthshaking show earlier this month at the ancient, historic Rome site Circus Maximus.

Tickets for the Little Caesars Arena show and other tour dates will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday via Ticketmaster.

Tuesday's announcement follows a premature tour release two weeks ago that indicated Scott would be playing LCA in September. That show news was soon retracted by promoters.

The new North American itinerary has Scott kicking off in Charlotte on Oct. 11 and wrapping up Dec. 29 in Toronto.

Scott's Circus Maximus Tour comes on the heels of his album "Utopia," which has topped the Billboard 200 for the past month while clocking 2023 streaming records. The Little Caesars Arena date will be his first in Detroit since December 2018.

The rapper's Cactus Jack Foundation is set to benefit from the Circus Maximus Tour: For each ticket sold, $2 will go to youth scholarships and other causes.
