Travis Scott Hints at Kylie Jenner Breakup on New Song
There seems to be a Kylie Jenner easter egg in one of Travis Scott's latest songs. In "Gatti," which is a collaboration with Pop Smoke, Scott delivers this interesting line: “Duck away, she wanna lay up and hibernate (Yeah) / I took a chance, it’s a lot to take."
Although he doesn't explicitly name her, it does seem like this may be an allusion to Kylie Jenner, and the wildly different lives that the exes lead from each other now that they've broken up.

In an interview with Hollywood Life, a source said that Scott felt cooped up in his life with Jenner. "Travis was getting antsy not going out more now that Stormi [Travis and Kylie’s 22-mos.-old daughter] is older and he wanted to live the life he has afforded and be out and about more," the source said right after the parents split. The source added, "Though Kylie is young and wants to go out herself, she is also a wonderful mother and wants to live her life as a family."
Throughout much of his relationship with Kylie, Travis was on the road touring on a tour that runs from November of 2018 through July of 2019. Although the lyric may be an allusion to Scott's eagerness to get out of the house, Kylie certainly didn't harbor any hard feelings.
In fact, as soon as his new songs were released, she shared a swipe-up link to his album on Instagram and wrote in all caps "STORMIS DAD." She was clearly proud of him.
"Gatti" is part of the 27-year-old rapper's new compilation project which was released on Dec. 27. The new project, titled "JACKBOYS," is the first from his label Cactus Jack Records. In addition to "Gatti," the album also features collaborations with Sheck Wes, Don Tolliver and Chase B.
Scott and Jenner have been split for more than two months now, and although they've been spotted together since, there's been no PDA in that time. It seems the split is an amicable one, at least so far.
At a recent Christmas Eve party, both Travis and Khloe's ex Tristan Thompson were in attendance, but strictly as fathers. "There was no PDA or romance when it came to Travis and Tristan at the party with Khloe and Kylie, they were strictly on daddy duty and enjoying all the entertainment and food and were just chatting away and were just laying loose," a source told Hollywood Life. They may not be in relationships, but they're still a part of their kids' lives.
