You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself get clowned for your Batman costume. That's the lesson Travis Scott learned this weekend, after fans made fun of the rapper for his not-so-fly brown Caped Crusader look for Halloween.

Scott debuted the outfit Saturday night, and by Sunday morning his Instagram account was gone, leading fans to speculate that either the jokes got to him or La Flame is about to release new music (or both?).

"Travis Scott is drowning in millions of dollars right now and he couldn't get a good Batman costume smh," one Twitter user wrote.

Another tweeted, "he was the UPS batman for halloween."

Some fans are theorizing that Scott deleting his Instagram account was simply a ploy to drum up hype for new music. In early October, the Houston-bred artist teased on Twitter that his fourth album was coming and also changed his Instagram bio from "ASTROWORLD," the name of his last album, to "UTOPIA."

EW has reached out to Scott's representatives for comment.

In September, Scott dropped "Franchise," featuring Young Thug and M.I.A., and he previously released a bunch of new songs this year, including "The Plan" for Christopher Nolan's Tenet, "Wash Us in the Blood" with Kanye, and "The Scotts" with Kid Cudi.
