Travis Scott is planning to bring his upcoming tour to Oklahoma this year, but the Grammy-nominated rapper won't be performing where and when he was originally expected in the Sooner State.

Scott, 32, officially announced Wednesday the dates, cities and venues for his "Utopia - Circus Maximus Tour," including a Nov. 18 show at Tulsa's BOK Center.

The newly released tour itinerary does not include an October Oklahoma City stop at Paycom Center, as initially announced earlier this month.

On Aug. 8, a different set of North American tour dates, including the OKC show, was announced for Scott's fall tour in support of his new chart-topping new album "Utopia." But a source close to Scott soon confirmed to The Oklahoman then that the tour routing initially announced was not final and that the hitmaker would unveil his "Utopia" tour plans soon.

A Paycom Center representative confirmed Wednesday that Scott's upcoming tour is not expected to play the Oklahoma City arena this autumn.

Rapper plans to tour in support of his new star-studded album

Scott will be touring in support of his new album "Utopia," released July 28 via Epic Records and his own Cactus Jack label.

The album debuted atop the cross-genre Billboard 200 chart, scoring the third-biggest week of 2023 for any album and the biggest of the year for any R&B, hip-hop or rap release, according to the trade publication.

It is the biggest hip-hop release of 2023 to date, holding strong at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for four weeks running and earning in excess of 1.5 billion streams globally.

The album features guest appearances by Beyoncé, Drake, Dave Chappelle, 21 Savage, Bad Bunny, Bon Iver, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, SZA, The Weeknd, Young Thug and more. Controversial rapper Kanye "Ye" West was a writer and producer on "Utopia."

When can fans buy tickets to Travis Scott's Oklahoma concert?

"Utopia" is Scott’s third No. 1 and first solo album since his 2018 chart-topper "Astroworld." It's also the rapper's first album since the 2021 Astroworld concert in his native Houston, Texas, that left 10 concertgoers dead and hundreds injured.

Although Houston was included on the original "Utopia" tour itinerary released earlier this month, Scott's hometown is absent from the new official list of dates. The rapper instead will play home-state shows Oct. 17 at American Airlines Center in Dallas and Nov. 21 at the Moody Center in Austin.

Tickets to Scott's Tulsa show go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 31 and will be available online at bokcenter.com. Tulsa ticket prices range from $61.50 to $251.50.

According to the official tour announcement, $2 from every "Utopia - Circus Maximus Tour" ticket sold will go to Scott's nonprofit Cactus Jack Foundation. Its mission is to uplift Houston youths through toy drives, scholarship programs at historically Black college and university students and more.
