Travis Scott announced the Utopia: Circus Maximus tour on Tuesday (Aug. 29). The Houston artist took to Instagram to share the news with his 51.3 million followers.

George Condo crafted the picture for the tour announcement, which features a risqué cartoon drawing of a naked white woman eating a hot dog. Its unsettling aesthetic resembled Kanye West’s artistic direction for his 2010 album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy — also done by Condo. “Utopia tour, On sale Thursday, 10 am local time, Travisscott.com, Hsbsddbsbsnsjsbdnd,” Scott’s caption read, revealing that tickets will go on sale Thursday (Aug. 31).

Billboard reports that $2 from every ticket sold will go to the rapper’s Cactus Jack Foundation. CJF was designed as a nonprofit organization to uplift “Houston’s youth through toy drives, scholarship programs to HBCU college students, and fulfilling expenses for education and creative endeavors.”

The 28-date rager will begin at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center on Oct. 11, 2023. From there, the “MELTDOWN” artist will hit Chicago, Miami, New York, and other major markets before ending the show at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on Dec. 29, 2023.

H-Town Mayor Sylvester Turner recently announced that Travis would play the Texas city as a part of his tour. However, Scott’s tour announcement doesn’t include his hometown.

According to ABC13Turner stated that Scott “booked the Toyota Center for a concert in October.” Douglas Griffith, Houston Police Department Union president, clarified that the “Sicko Mode” entertainer could potentially hit Toyota Center on Oct. 19, 2023, or Nov. 20, 2023.

“Before (Tuesday’s) announcement, Toyota Center representatives convened meetings with public safety officials and the city’s special events office. They will continue working together to ensure this concert’s safety, not unlike the thousands of concerts held at Toyota Center each year,” the official statement read. If Travis is given the green light, his Houston Circus Maximus date will mark his first time performing in his city since the deadly Astroworld Festival.

Utopia, released on July 28, 2023. The long-awaited album has spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, as of Wednesday (Aug. 30). His fourth studio album has now become his third No. 1 on the coveted chart. Additionally, the LP is the first rap album since Drake’s Scorpion to spend its first four weeks at No. 1.
