Travis Kelce's new Amazon Prime game show will feature a few Cincinnati celebrities.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and former University of Cincinnati Bearcat announced in April he will host "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?" in the near future. The 20-episode series is a spinoff of the former "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" game show hosted by actor and comedian Jeff Foxworthy.

Although a release date has yet to be announced, CBS Sports reports the show will feature a few celebrity classmates with ties to Greater Cincinnati. Among the notable names are: former Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson, former NFL and Bengals quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and Cincinnati-born comedian Nikki Glaser.

Other stars set to appear on "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?" include comedians and actors Natasha Leggero, Nicole Byer and Ron Funches, reality television stars Garcelle Beauvais and Lala Kent, podcaster Sophia Stallone and actor and producer Lilly Singh.

The series, which will premiere on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide, will offer a twist to the original game show. Instead of children helping an adult contestant, each episode will feature a classroom full of celebrities who will help a contestant answer 11 elementary-level trivia questions.

Contestants can also select one celebrity to help them answer the final question, which will be at a sixth-grade level and worth $100,000.

This may be Kelce's first time hosting a game show, but the football player is no stranger to television.

Kelce starred in an E! Entertainment Television reality dating show called "Catching Kelce," which premiered in October 2016. The show ran for eight episodes and followed the tight end's journey of dating 50 women, one from each U.S. state.

Kelce hosted "Saturday Night Live" in March 2023. He also co-hosts one of the top-charting sports podcasts, "New Heights," with his brother and former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. "New Heights" won the Podcast of the Year Award at the iHeart Radio Podcast Awards in March.
