Travis Kelce Reached Out to This Singer Before Taylor Swift, Sources Claim

We all know how Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance began: he went to her concert, failed to give her his number, but then they got together and kept their romance private for some time before debuting it in late 2023. So many fans adore this celebrity couple, and simply think they’re meant to be. However, sources claim Kelce had his eyes on another singer before Swift.

Sources told InTouch Weekly that Kelce allegedly tried to hook up with quite a few celebrities, with the biggest one being the oh-so-gorgeous Megan Thee Stallion.

“Travis reached out to Megan Thee Stallion to try his luck with her,” they said, discussing how Kelce and Tallion were seen hanging out at the 2023 CMT Awards. “It seems like once he became more famous and well known, he was trying to hook up with bigger celebrities.”

However, Stallion rejected him. It’s unclear how many other celebrities he reached out to (heck, it could’ve been Nick Viall style where he DM’ed a bunch of celebs), but we do know he found his happily ever after with Swift.

For those who don’t know, Kelce and Swift made their relationship public in Sept 2023, but they actually got together months prior and kept their romance private for quite a few months beforehand.

Swift talked about how she and Kelce were already a couple when she went to the first football game she appeared at for him. She said during her interview with Time’s 2023 Person of the Year: “So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard-launch a first date.”
