Ever since Taylor Swift’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department, dropped on Friday, Swifties have been speculating over which songs are referencing former romances, ongoing feuds, or current relationships. And so Joe Alwyn, Matt Healy, and Kim Kardashian (or should we call her aIMee?) have been thrust into the spotlight — even more than normal — along with Swift’s current beau, Travis Kelce.

But instead of listening to internet speculation about which songs are about her son, Donna Kelce plans to go straight to the source.

“I know there’s a few that some people think are about Travis, but we’ll just see,” Donna told Us Weekly. “You know, I’ll have to ask her when I see her.“

That’s probably the right move, Donna! Don’t go down the Reddit rabbit holes when you can ask Tay herself. Maybe Kris Jenner will follow suit. (IYKYK.)

Donna, who is also mom to football legend Jason Kelce, admitted she doesn’t have a favorite song, but she does have high praise for the album. “It’s her best one!” she told the outlet.

Now we want to know, has family patriarch Ed Kelce also listened to the “best” album? Did he stream it? Or did Ed take an alternate route?

Last fall, Travis and Jason spoke on their New Heights podcast about seeing Ed talking to Swift in the family’s box at a Kansas City Chiefs football game. The brothers called it a “terrifying” scene, agreeing that the wild card should not be talking to “shouldn’t be talking to” her.

“I felt terrible for Taylor for being [subjected to that],” Travis said.

“If you see Dad talking to anybody and you can’t hear what’s happening, who knows where that conversation’s going,” Jason said.

“He’s probably saying, ‘I’ve taken all your CDs out at the local library and I’ve burned them into my computer because that is legal as a tax-paying citizen,’” the retired Philadelphia Eagles center said.

OMG! Did he do that with TTPD?! Is that even an option already?! And if Ed is checking the album out of his local library, is he also gossiping with the librarians about which songs could be about his youngest son? Or is he following Donna’s lead, letting Swift spill the deets? We hope it’s the latter.
