Travis Kelce Laughs Off NFL Commentator's Taylor Swift Puns amid Dating Rumors: 'Well Played'

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was a good sport as NFL commentator Rich Eisen kept the Taylor Swift puns coming

Travis Kelce doesn’t have any “Bad Blood” for people who are wondering if he’s dating Taylor Swift.

On Sunday, NFL Network’s Rich Eisen had some fun during Kelce’s pre-game coverage ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Jacksonville Jaguars game. During the show, the sports announcer dropped in plenty of Swift references while discussing the tight end.

“Kelce finds a blank space for the score!” Eisen said at one point in the live broadcast, a nod to the Grammy winner’s 2014 Billboard Hot 100 single “Blank Space.”

However, one Swift reference wasn’t quite enough for the commentator.

“You saw it on Thursday night, when Travis Kelce wasn’t in there, it left a ‘blank space,’ but I think he returns today and proves to be the ‘anti-hero.’ Never goes ‘out of style,’ ” Eisen added.

A clip of the show was shared in a joint Instagram post with Eisen and the NFL Network. Each time the broadcaster made a Swift reference, there would be a dinging noise to keep score.

Eisen kept the Swift puns coming as he captioned the upload, “Look what you made me do, @killatrav.”

The Chiefs star was a good sport about the running joke.

“Well played Rich…. Well played 👏🏻😂,” Kelce, 33, wrote.

During a post-game interview on Thursday night, Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles, was asked if his sibling was seeing Swift, 33.

“I’ve seen these rumors. I cannot comment,” Jason, 35, told panelist and retired NFL star Tony Gonzalez, who asked if the football center could address the issue on behalf of his 15-year-old daughter.

While Jason did not confirm or deny the rumors, he did offer up a bit of a theory as to why people may have been interested.

“Ever since Catching Kelce everybody’s been infatuated with Travis’ love life,” Jason said, referring to his brother's brief stint with a reality TV dating show. “I don’t really know what’s going on there, but I know Travis is having fun and we’ll see what happens with whoever he ends up with.”

Speculation about a possible romance could be linked to the Kansas City athlete previously admitting that he’d attempted to spark a connection with the “Enchanted” songstress in the past.

In a July episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, Travis jokingly said he’d done his best to give Swift his phone number with one of her famous Eras Tour friendship bracelets earlier in the summer but he was unsuccessful in scoring off of the field.

"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her," Travis shared, adding, “She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”

In April, Swift split from English actor Joe Alwyn after six years of dating. She was then linked to The 1975 frontman Matty Healy before they broke up soon after.

"They are absolutely not together and aren't even in contact anymore. She is enjoying being single and has been spending time in the studio and hanging out with friends in New York City. This is all B.S.," a source told PEOPLE of Swift and Healy’s rumored rekindling in July.
