The festival is also attracting celebrities to KC, some for the first time.

“I’ve had like six different BBQ Spots. I got a nice little 10-mile run into the city and I’m like integrating myself into the city to see what it’s about,” television personality Matt James said.

Chiefs teammates also came out to show their support for Kelce.

“Everyone should know him by now. He’s an epitome of having fun, just having a great time in life. So looking forward to have a blast, eating some good food, kicking it with some teammates and friends and having a good time,” Trey Smith said. “Weezy (Lil Wayne)… I’m trying to meet him.”

Tonight’s festival featured artists like Diplo, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne. This is Kelce’s way of giving back to Kansas City.

“It’s always been a desire to throw a party for KC. They give me so much support during the season and they get Arrowhead rocking,” Kelce said. “I’ve always wanted to give them something outside of the season to excited for and have some fun with.”

It’s the second year for the Kelce Jam and it’s safe to say he’s living in the moment.

“I am just excited about tonight and can’t wait to get out there and have some fun on stage.
