Travis Kelce Gets a Haircut and Beard Trim in Behind-the-Scenes Video Shared by His Barber: 'New Chapter'

One week after the Super Bowl, Kelce trimmed his facial hair with barber Vince Garcia after two months of "growing out the beard"

Travis Kelce's keeps his grooming routine — and his relationship with his barber — tight.

On Sunday, barber Vince Garcia shared a behind-the-scenes look at Kelce's post-season beard trim, when Garcia shaved off some of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's facial hair just a week after his Super Bowl victory in Las Vegas.

"THE 3X CHAMP," Garcia captioned a clip of Kelce, 34, getting a cut.

"My brother @killatrav pulled up last week to get that fresh cut after winning his 3rd Super Bowl! After growing out the beard for 2mo it was time to cut it back down! Congrats once again fam, well deserved my G! 🏆💯🏈"

In the video, shot by Instagram user @mistah_kang, Kelce can be seen describing the "new chapter" in his life as he says goodbye to his beard.

"Just got colder in here, man," Kelce said as Garcia shaved off a chunk of his facial hair, while a Snoh Aalegra song soundtracked the experience.

"Man, just a new chapter I guess, man. Finished the old one," he added. "Had to get it off my face, clean it up. Stop looking like a Neanderthal."

At the end of the cut, Kelce looked in the mirror and said: "Haven't seen this guy in years... back like we never left." The photographer also shared additional images of the hair appointment to his own Instagram page, showing the Super Bowl champ kick his feet up and smile during the experience.

Kelce was first spotted with his shorter post-season scruff when he traveled to Australia to cheer on Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour dates in the country. During the outing at Accor Stadium in Sydney, Kelce could be seen with the noticeably shorter facial hair, which he paired with a vibrant blue outfit.

As for the top of his head, Kelce’s barber Patrick Regan detailed the athlete's signature buzz cut to Inside Edition and other outlets. The haircut, described as both a "skin fade" and "bald fade," consists of bald shaves on the sides of his head that gradually fade into the a three-blade shave.

"Taylor loves the haircut," Regan told Fox News. "She has watched me cut his hair a bunch of times and always compliments it after."

As Regan told Good Morning America, barbers have been "doing this haircut for centuries."

"I think it just goes to show how big of an icon that he is that a simple haircut can be named like the Travis Kelce haircut,” he added. "It's pretty cool."
