The EP is first new music from Trash Talk since their 2016 EP Tangle. According to the band, it’s also the first time the hardcore outfit has worked with a producer across an entire release. “We did a record with Steve Albini, but that was more about engineering,” guitarist Garrett Stevenson said in a statement. “Working with Kenny was the first time we’ve had real input in the studio. We stepped outside our typical routine.” Trash Talk’s most recent full-length was 2014’s No Peace.
