Peacock’s The Traitors was a smash hit for the streaming service as viewers watched 20 quite cunning contestants battle it out for $250,000. The first season showed a mix of everyday Americans and famed reality TV stars, which wasn’t terrible. However, the real drama came during Season 2 when the network chose to cast old-school reality TV stars from Bravo, CBS, and MTV. Between the Real Housewives crew, The Challenge gang, the Survivor alliance, and the Peter Pals, the contestants tried their best to outwit and outplay their opponents.

Each season of The Traitors has gotten better with age. Alan Cumming has hosted his Scottish kilt off as fans love his dry sense of humor and theatrics. Between the ostentatious castle, fabulous outfits, and thrilling cast, The Traitors is not to be missed. With three to five traitors in the game, the series wasn’t for the faint of heart. With the buzz around Season 3 building, it’s time to take a look at who we might want to see back at the Scottish fortress to try their luck again.

Season 1 picks

There is a reason Kate Chastain was picked for both Season 1 and Season 2: she’s unapologetic. She is having a good time and doesn’t want you to know she is having a good time, which I think is the coolest thing about her. Kate begrudgingly partakes in the outdoor activities and round table, knowing that at the end of the day, she can sleep well at night.

The Amazing Race alum Rachel Reilly can be a monster – but in such a good way. She convinced teams to work with her and played a smart game while on Big Brother.

The third choice I would like to see back is Survivor’s Cirie Fields. I actually forgot that Cirie won Season 1. Her gameplay was above and beyond as she gave a masterclass on the art of deceit. I wouldn’t bring back any of the civilians because viewers didn’t know them enough to root for them.

Season 2 picks

I have been a CT Tamburello fan since his time on The Real World: Paris. When he was younger, he was volatile, hot, and funny. As a veteran of The Challenge, CT has proved himself over and over again as to why he is the GOAT. It also helped that he had a little TV love affair with Phaedra Parks. If you found CT through The Traitors, you are getting his best version. He went from the bad boy of MTV to “Castle Daddy,” and I need more of him on my screen. Also, let’s not forget that he won most of the money for the Faithfuls.

I also would like Dan Gheesling to get a second chance. I thought he played a pretty decent game until he didn’t. But I’d like to see him as Faithful this time around.

Casting rumors

Even though Season 3 of The Traitors hasn’t been officially announced yet, it is safe to assume that the series will be returning thanks to its massive success. Some rumors flirting around have to do with the Bravoverse, as Kenya Moore, Teresa Giudice, and Dorinda Medley have all been rumored to have signed on. If these whispers turn out to be accurate, we must protect these women at all costs. While all these theories are alleged theories, imagine how amazing these three women would be.

We would have the table flipper herself and the “Make it nice, queen.” Kenya would be “Gone with the Wind fabulous” as she reads all the possible contestants. If it were up to me, I would pick Dorinda as a Traitor, with Kenya and Tre being Faithful. I don’t think Teresa can run a long con, though I could be very, very wrong. Whoever is chosen for the third season, one thing is for sure: fans are going to be on the edge of their seats.
