The animated film series, How to Train Your Dragon is getting a live-action remake.
Dean DeBlois the filmmaker behind the original series is returning for a film to be released in 2025.
The original How to Train Your Dragon film, which was released in 2010, was a huge success and earned 2 Oscar nominations. It’s uncertain of the original voice actors from the animated films will be involved in the new film.
How to Train Your Dragon is based of the books by Cressida Cowell and tells the story of a young Viking Hiccup and his dragon, Toothless. A true “coming-of-age” story, Hiccup and Toothless develop a special bond as they overcome adversity, cope with loss and find love.
