Created by Mike Clattenburg, Trailer Park Boys is a mockumentary series that revolves around a group of residents of the fictional Sunnyvale Trailer Park, as they drink, smoke marijuana, curse, and make a living by committing petty crimes. The series premiered on Showcase on April 22, 2001, before shifting to Netflix after season 7.
The Trailer Park Boys is the continuation of the story of Clattenburg’s 1999 film of the same name. The success of the series has led to the development of several spin-offs, films, and specials. There is no Trailer Park Boys Season 13 release date as the series came to an end after season 12.
The 12th season was reportedly the last season developed under the deal that the producers made with Netflix, and it marked the end of the show. Fortunately, the fictional universe continued with the release of the animated spin-off Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series on Netflix on March 31, 2019, and the live-action spin-off Trailer Park Boys: Jail on Swearnet on January 1, 2021.
