In February 2023, about two years nine months after the release of season 2, series co-creator John Paul Tremblay, who also voices Julian in the series, revealed while answering a comment on one of his Instagram posts that a new season of Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series would be “shot” in 2023. He also disclosed that two Trailer Park Boys movies and another season of Trailer Park Boys: Jail were also on the way as well as a season set in the fictional Sunnyvale Trailer Park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
If the production of the animated series is going according to the plans, it can potentially come out sometime in 2024.
The voice cast includes John Paul Tremblay as Julian, Robb Wells as Ricky LaFleur, Mike Smith as Bubbles “Bubs,” John Dunsworth as Jim Lahey (archive recording), Patrick Roach as Randy, Cory Bowles as Himself / Steve French / Naked Man, Jeanna Harrison as Trinity LaFleur-Collins, Jacob Rolfe as Jacob Collins, Sarah Dunsworth-Nickerson as Sarah, and more.
