As if we weren’t already excited for our favorite funny lady to return, she’ll be joined by a new, famous face. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 3 teaser trailer features Sterling K. Brown. The actor, most famous for his role on This Is Us and his previous work on American Crime Story, looks like he’ll be making an appearance in this Emmy winning series starring Rachel Brosnahan.

As we know, Mrs. Maisel is going on tour in the third season of the series. The end of season 2 saw the aspiring comedienne accept an offer from singer Shy Baldwin to open his act while on an international tour, and season 3 is a full-on showcase of the jokes, laughs and looks of the 1960s. What’s more, Brown makes a quick appearance in the new teaser trailer while Susie (Alex Borstein) and Midge ready for their plane travel. “Happy flight,” he says with a smile.

Brown has been rather excited about his new gig, sharing with Entertainment Weekly back in April, “The Palladinos were kind enough to write a little something for your boy, and I said yes … I’m getting together with Midge and it’s going to be awesome.”

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel was recently rewarded with a number of Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Brosnahan, Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Borstein and Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Tony Shalhoub, among others.

We can’t wait to see more of Brown, Brosnahan and company when the third season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel returns December 6 on Amazon.
