The trailer for a new romance film 'The Idea of You' starring New Jersey's own Anne Hathaway is available to watch on YouTube as the film is set to release in May on Amazon Prime.
"The Idea of You" is based on the 2017 book with the same title that was partially inspired by the celebrity musician Harry Styles. Hathaway, who was raised in Millburn, plays the role of a 40-year-old mother who accompanies her daughter at a film festival when she meets a 24-year-old band leader, played by Nicholas Galitzine, and the two fall into a drama-filled relationship.
Hathaway has many roots to the tri-state area as she was born in Brooklyn and raised in Millburn.
The acclaimed celebrity is known for her roles in several movies such as "The Princess Diaries," "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Les Misérables," for which she won an Oscar as Best Supporting Actress.
Hathaway is just one of the many famous stars that have ties to New Jersey. The Garden State has produced a plethora of celebrities as young actresses like Rachel Zegler have projects in the works as well.
