The upcoming (abbreviated) eleventh season of NBC’s Chicago P.D. will be the last for Tracy Spiridakos, Deadline has confirmed. She will depart the Wolf Entertainment cop drama after eight seasons, seven of them as a series regular.
Spiridakos’ pending departure, which I hear was her decision, follows that of her on-screen husband, Jesse Lee Soffer, who left Chicago P.D. last season.

On the show, Spiridakos plays Detective Hailey Upton Halstead, a former robbery-homicide detective. Although Hailey and Jay Halstead (Soffer) had a rocky start when they were first partnered, their relationship gradually blossomed into a romance and marriage.
But then, early in Season 10, Jay returned to the Army in a new job hunting drug cartels in Bolivia soon after the couple’s wedding, leaving their future up in the air. It is unclear whether Soffer would return to give Spiridakos’ character a proper goodbye which is a tradition for popular on-screen couples.
Before joining Chicago P.D., Spiridakos starred on the NBC drama series Revolution.
The news of Spiridakos’ departure was first reported by Variety.
