Town Throws Crossing Guard The Ultimate Retirement Party

After 45 years of working as a crossing guard, Rosetta Puckett was ready to retire, but not without the ultimate send-off party from her Nashville community. Rosetta was known to give jackets to children in need and make home-cooked meals for their families, so her community threw a celebration so big that the mayor declared it Rosetta Puckett Day. Pilot Pens awards Rosetta a retirement gift of $1000 to thank her for giving back to her community.
