Tovino Thomas recently starred in the Malayalam film Adrishya Jalakangal. The movie is set for its OTT release now. While the movie initially had a theatrical release on November 24, over two weeks later, it is set to be available to stream online. It has created a stir among the audience with its intense plot.

Adrishya Jalakangal also stars Indrans, Nimisha Sajayan, Vettukili Prakash, Govardhan BK, and Ishitha Sudheesh. While Tovino Thomas has played his part as the protagonist, the supporting stars also carried the movie in the best way possible.

The movie’s director, National Award winner Dr. Biju, has garnered praise for its unique storyline. On the other hand, Thomas has left the audience in awe of his acting skills. Those who missed the movie in the theaters can now watch it on Netflix. Adrishya Jalakangal will arrive on the OTT giant on December 8, 2023.

Much like his other movies, Dr Biju ensured to blow away the audience’s minds with his unique choice of script. Adrishya Jalakangal revolves around a common man who resides in the countryside. As he returns to his home, he takes up the job of a morgue’s night guard and realizes that he can talk to ghosts. His life takes a drastic turn when the powerless people around him are terrorized and harmed without any reason.

In Adrishya Jalakangal, the director has used anti-war themes to narrate the story of these people. The movie also became the first Malayalam flick to be screened at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia, per India Today. Even though it did not earn much through its theatrical release, it is expected to amaze the audience on OTT.

On the work front, Tovino Thomas also has Ajayante Randaam Moshanam in the pipeline.
