Tove Styrke, “Even If I’m Loud It Doesn’t Mean I’m Talking To You” (RAC Mix): Exclusive Premiere

Sweden’s Tove Styrke has become latest artist to receive the RAC treatment.

Fresh off the release of his first full-length “Strangers,” Remix Artist Collective’s André Allen Anjos bolsters the 21-year-old singer’s sassy vocals with a varied arsenal of stomping analog bass notes, arcing synth stabs and crisp percussive interplay. RAC’s mix manages to seamlessly weave together a range of stylistically distinct elements without ever sounding forced or crowded.

“Even If I’m Loud It Doesn’t Mean I’m Talking To You” marks Styrke’s first single in nearly three years. In 2010, the young electro pop artist released her eponymous full length debut, which peaked at No. 10 on the Swedish charts.

“A big thing when we wrote and recorded EIILIDMITTY was the energy, building it up and keeping it in motion,” says Styrke. “I wanted the room to be present, like you can actually hear it. The RAC mix is very much alive, it sounds like the soundtrack of a movie I really wanna watch.”

“Even If I’m Loud It Doesn’t Mean I’m Talking To You” is now available through Sony Sweden.
