Tough Decisions and Tears on ‘The Bachelorette’
On Monday’s The Bachelorette, JoJo was faced with a difficult decision at the rose ceremony. Earlier in the episode she sent home Wells and Derek. Both teared up, but Derek seemed downright distraught. In the taxi, on his way home he said, “I wasn’t enough. I thought I was. I’m not. I’m Derek. And Derek is imperfect.”
At the rose ceremony, the final rose was going to be given to either Alex or James. However, JoJo couldn’t see either of them crying in a taxi just yet. So JoJo left the ceremony and consulted with Chris Harrison. She returned with two roses and gave one to each of the men.
She said to the two, “I’m sorry if that was stressful, and I’m sorry if I made you wait, but I couldn’t say goodbye to any of you guys.” She added, “I feel like I can go to bed tonight and know that I didn’t make a mistake.”
