Meanwhile, construction worker Douglas Quaid on Earth is haunted by recurring dreams featuring Mars and a mysterious woman.
Seeking answers, Quaid visits Rekall, a company specializing in implanting lifelike false memories. Opting for a Mars-themed memory where he’s a secret agent, his procedure is disrupted when he, convinced he’s already an agent, reacts violently. Suspecting that Vilos’ “Agency” has suppressed his memories, Rekall erases evidence of Quaid’s visit and sends him home.
Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as Douglas Quaid while Ronny Cox plays Vilos Cohaagen. The rest of the cast includes Rachel Ticotin, Sharon Stone, Michael Ironside, Marshall Bell, Michael Champion, Mel Johnson Jr., Roy Brocksmith, and Rosemary Dunsmore.
