Directed by Paul Verhoeven, this film was based on Philip K. Dick’s 1966 short story “We Can Remember It for You Wholesale.” Tyrannical Vilos Cohaagen rules Mars in 2084 and has monopolized precious turbinium ore mining. Seeking answers, Quaid visits Rekall, a company specializing in implanting lifelike false memories.
