Tory Lanez and Danny Masterson are reportedly prison mates. According to The Messenger, the That 70’s Show star was transferred to Delano, Calif’s North Kern State Prison on Wednesday (Dec. 27).

Masterson was locked up at Los Angeles’ Men’s Central Jail after being detained in September for rape. ABC reports reports that Masterson is “going through the classification and reception process” at the facility.

The Messenger reports that Lanez is serving a 10-year bid at the same Delano prison. As previously reported, Tory was transferred to the facility after being found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion. However, Tory has since tried his best to vacate his decade-long sentence.

The rapper, né Daystar Peterson, cites “childhood trauma” as his motivation for his petition. Peterson’s driver, Jauquan Smith, also offered a new statement regarding the August 2020 incident.

According to court reporter Meghan Cunnif, Peterson hired new legal representation who believes his past and the new statement should be considered in the court’s decision. Legal docs state that Peterson is “not an impact to public safety, as he not only has a high likelihood of rehabilitation, but moreover, he continues to urge that this was an isolated event.”

As for Danny Masterson, the actor was convicted of raping two women in 2001 and 2003. A jury found him guilty of two counts of forcible rape during a retrial involving three separate women. As a result, the entertainer will serve two 15-year sentences consecutively for each charge. Masterson is also required to register as a sex offender. During the time of his conviction, the actor’s wife, Bijou Phillips, filed for divorce after 12 years together.

Insider reports that the three women who accused Masterson of rape were former Church of Scientology members. The women alleged that Danny, a second-generation Scientologist, used his position in the church to “silence them.” Masterson and the Church of Scientology have denied these allegations.

The women have since filed a civil suit against both Masterson and the church. Legal proceedings for this case will commence in 2025 after the entertainer’s criminal case is handled. Shawn Holley, Danny’s attorney, remains adamant that the convictions will be overturned.
