Tortuga Music Festival 2024 will feature a lineup led by Lainey Wilson, Hardy, Jason Aldean and Old Dominion when it returns to Fort Lauderdale Beach Park on April 5-7.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, according to a Tortuga announcement on Monday morning. Prices have been set at $335+ for a three-day, general-admission pass; $510+ for a three-day GA+ pass (a new feature in 2023); and $1,549+ for VIP. No word yet on the popular Super VIP passes.

The new GA+ pass offers access to a separate lounge with air-conditioned (and flushable) restrooms and a full bar (for purchases).

An alumni presale with discounted passes for those who attended previous festivals begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28. The alumni sale will include all of the above and Super VIP passes.

Tortuga 2024 will include performances by hot-right-now Bailey Zimmerman, Ashley McBryde, Koe Wetzel, Turnpike Troubadours, Russell Dickerson, Priscilla Block and Red Clay Strays.

The lineup also features an extra dose of beach-friendly eclecticism with Michael Franti & Spearhead, Bret Michaels, Boyz II Men, TLC, Shwayze, Teddy Swims, Long Beach Dub Allstars and others.

Since its debut in 2013, Tortuga Music Festival’s special oceanfront location and word-of-mouth buzz among acts who have played there have encouraged a who’s-who list of performers to show up over the years.

The festival typically draws more than 25,000 fans each day to Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. The 2017 edition was named Festival of the Year by the Academy of Country Music.

Tortuga will always have a hard time topping the 2022 lineup, which included Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs and Thomas Rhett. Tortuga 2022 tickets and hotel packages were gone in record time and marked the first time in its history that the festival sold out in advance. It also was the first time the festival did not offer single-day tickets.

The 2023 headliners were Kenny Chesney, Eric Church and Shania Twain, on a bill that also included Cole Swindell, Jake Owen, Brett Young, Wiz Khalifa, The Wallflowers, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Carly Pearce and Ashley Cooke.

Other performers in years past have included Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Sheryl Crow, Tim McGraw, Sam Hunt, the Zac Brown Band, Jason Aldean and Kane Brown.

The original inspiration for Tortuga came from Nashville record-label executive Chris Stacey, a part-time Fort Lauderdale resident and avid free diver, who wanted to marry his passion for music and a desire to educate visitors on marine conservation.

Tortuga’s Conservation Village, sponsored by Stacey’s Rock the Ocean Foundation, remains a prominent feature of the festival environment. The foundation has raised in excess of $3 million at Tortuga.
