Torrei Hart Says Touring With Katt Williams Has Nothing To Do With Ex-Husband Kevin Hart

Torrei Hart has denied speculation that her recent inclusion on Katt Williams’ Dark Matter comedy tour is an attempt to bother her ex-husband, Kevin Hart.
On Tuesday (Jan. 9), Torrei spoke with TMZ about hitting the road with Williams, pointing to their lengthy friendship, which she says dates back more than a decade. During the chat, she questioned why Katt would resort to such measures to get underneath Hart’s skin, adding that her and Williams “have history” that extends beyond his spat with her ex. “We’re so close to the point that Katt has babysit my dog,” the 45-year-old said of Williams.
When asked if she’d consider going on tour with Hart in the future, Torrei said she’d have no reason not to, acknowledging that he’s still the father of her children. “He’s my baby daddy,” she told the outlet. “Of course, why wouldn’t I?”
However, Torrei added that if such a collaboration were to occur, the onus would fall on Hart to make that offer. “He needs to do that,” she said of Hart bringing her on the road. “He needs to set that up.”
While the timing of Hart’s addition to Williams’ Dark Matter Tour caused many to deem it as a chess move in William’s beef with the Ride Along star, she’s already performed alongside Williams on at least one occasion, according to her official website.
In addition to launching the popular YouTube channel Pretty Funny Fish, Torrei has also shared stages with comedic greats such as Matin Lawrence, Alex Thomas, and Chris Spencer throughout her own comedic career.
According to Hart, Williams providing his ex-wife with a platform is a non-issue, as he recently told TMZ that he wishes Torrei, as well as the tour, the best. “I want everybody to win,” the 44-year-old said. “I hope the tour is great.”
Hart also spoke on Williams’ assertion that his success was a byproduct of him being an “industry plant,” which the Ohio native made during his now viral appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast last week.
“I don’t feed into the stuff at all, at the end of the day,” he told FOX 5 on Wednesday (Jan. 10). “It’s all entertaining to a certain degree. I just don’t have the time for it. There’s too much going on.”
“You don’t entertain the circus – you watch it.”
