Maple Leafs recall Jeremy Bracco, Trevor Moore out again
Prior to Monday afternoon’s matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes, the Toronto Maple Leafs announced that forward Trevor Moore will be out of the lineup yet again. In a related move, the team has called up Jeremy Bracco from the AHL’s Toronto Marlies.
Maple Leafs forward Trevor Moore is unavailable for today’s game. His status will be updated after the game.

Moore returned from injury Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings, but might still be feeling the remnants of a knock he took in practice a couple weeks ago. He recorded two hits in just under ten minutes of ice time during Toronto’s 4-1 win over Detroit.
Bracco, 22, has yet to appear in an NHL game and whether he makes his debut against the Hurricanes is completely up to head coach Sheldon Keefe.
Toronto recently made a flurry of call-ups due to some minor injuries, but neither defenceman Timothy Liljegren or forward Adam Brooks made their NHL debuts while on the roster.
The 61st-overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Bracco has been a polarizing prospect throughout his time in the Maple Leafs system. However, his 22 goals and 79 points in 75 games with the Marlies last season did turn heads.
Through 28 games this season — his third with the Marlies — Bracco has three goals and 22 points.
