The authorized truth! Tori Spelling revealed during her one-hour Lifetime special, Tori Spelling: Celebrity Lie Detector, on Saturday, Oct. 3, which one of her Beverly Hills, 90210 costars she had sex with — and which one she got fired.
As teased last week, Spelling, 42, confessed to sleeping with two of her former costars, though one of the identities remained anonymous... until the special aired. "Was there anyone else from the original cast, I'm just going to say it, that you had sex with?" host Louise Roe asked the former actress.
"Yes, but I'm not going to tell you who it is," replied an anxious Spelling, who was hooked up to the lie detecting device. "I'm not telling you. I'm trying to do my lie detector poker face."
With a gasp, Roe processed, "It was Jason Priestley."
"Yeah," Spelling replied meekly. "It was a summer fling. It was off-set. It was our version of a summer romance. The 90210 version. And that was it, and we stayed great friends for the rest of the run and beyond that, we had that one summer fling."
Priestley, meanwhile, took to his Twitter to address the claims. "I'm not getting into this... It's nobody's business... Either way..." he wrote.
In the early '90s, Spelling also famously dated Brian Austin Green, who played David Silver, the love interest of Spelling's Donna Martin. "He was a little bit of my everything," Spelling said during the tell-all. "We grew up together. I think I was always in love with Brian."
She also recalled how she fell for actor, 42, from the get-go. "Brian and I were the youngest. We were 16," she said. "I remember the time I shook his hand. I had, like, [those feelings]. He teased me, he would tease me a lot. He would pull on my peach fuzz and he'd be like, 'Oh my gosh. You're like a little lamb chop. You're like my Chewbacca.'"
Spelling was also asked about her ties with Luke Perry. "From the very first episode Luke Perry was on, I had a mad crush on him," the actress confessed. "What everyone felt on TV, we all felt in real life." However, the two kissed — and that was all.
The shocking hookup admissions were nearly overshadowed by Spelling's other big revelation: That she got Shannen Doherty fired from the series, which was created and produced by her father, Aaron Spelling. As fans recall, Doherty was notoriously difficult on the set, and Spelling claimed there was once even a physical fight that involved Jennie Garth.
"I remember... I could hear the door fly open and everyone screaming and crying," Spelling recalled. "That's when I was told the boys just had to break up Jennie and Shannen. It was like a fistfight."
Doherty's behavior got so bad that Spelling called her dad to get rid of the actress. "I felt like I was a part of something, a movement, that cost someone their livelihood," a tearful Spelling shared. "Was she a horrible person? No. She was one of the best friends I ever had."
The mom of four, however, said the decision was right. "In the workplace, as a coworker, yeah."
