Tori Spelling and her mother, Candy Spelling's issues with each other seem to have taken the back seat.
A glimpse at the new bond between the formerly unfriendly pair became apparent when Candy shared that she has been supporting Tori during her divorce from Dean McDermott.
Candy Spelling Is Happy To Help Tori Spelling During Her Divorce
Candy has opened up about being a shoulder for her 50-year-old daughter to lean on during the challenging time of her divorce.
Speaking at the MOCA Gala 2024 in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 13, the 78-year-old claimed, "Well, she really needed [support]."
Candy expressed to PEOPLE that it meant "a lot" to be able to assist her daughter, adding, "Everything's good."
Things are so good between the mother-daughter duo, who were estranged until Tori filed for divorce, that a source divulged:
"She [Candy] has given Tori assurances that her and her kids would absolutely be taken care of and there should be no financial insecurity moving forward."
The insider also mentioned that Candy has been getting closer to her five grandchildren — Liam Aaron, Stella Doreen, Hattie Margaret, Finn Davey, and Beau Dean.

The informant's claim, which came in July 2023, was followed by Tori's birthday tribute to her mom in September of the same year.
Taking to Instagram, the actress dropped a slew of throwback pictures featuring her and Candy in various stages of their lives. Underneath the carousel, the mother-of-five partly wrote:
"I love you. Grateful to be your daughter. Some of my happiest memories involve laughing so hard with you that we were happy crying uncontrollably and you doing your LOL wheeze."
After noting that she did not plan to "take for granted the beautiful life you raised Rand and I in with Dad, Tori wrapped up:
"I am such a resilient and strong human and I owe so much of that to you. Strong women run in our family. I'm passing it on. Loved and still love watching horror films in bed with you. Always. Xo."
Unfortunately, fans could not celebrate the "Scary Movie 2" star's reunion with her mother as she locked the comment section. They, however, still gave the post nearly 19k likes.
The 50-Year-Old Cannot Afford To Keep Her Storage Units
Since Tori filed for divorce nine months after McDermott announced their separation, she has been upfront about her struggles.
In her latest update on her "misSPELLING" podcast, the author addressed simplifying her life as a hoarder. Tori kicked off the conversation by saying:
"I'm a hoarder, you guys! Hi, my name's Tori and I'm a hoarder. There I said it. I always tell people, 'I'm not a hoarder. I'm a collector.'"
As the conversation progressed, Tori compared her difficulty in letting go of her possessions to erasing a part of herself. Despite that, she has started getting used to the idea of losing her belongings.
The "Beverly Hills, 90210" performer began working on that process due to her financial difficulties, leading to the loss of her four storage units on Wednesday, May 1. In her words:
"But now I'm ready to let go of a lot of stuff. Well, because I have to, because I can't pay for it."
The Mother-of-Five Is Okay With McDermott Being In Their Kids Lives Again
On another episode of her podcast, The Blast noted that Tori shed light on her and her children's relationships with her estranged husband. She said:
"We're co-parenting very well right now. Like, the kids are seeing him again, and they're happy with his progress and the work he's done on himself. And they're proud of him, and we like his girlfriend."
The "Troop Beverly Hills" actress added, "And we all co-parent together and live the dream. You hope it works out like that. You always hope that. I don't know. I don't know what's gonna happen now."
It is worth noting that Tori's choice to allow McDermott's reconciliation with their children occurred after her observation of significant progress in his treatment for substance abuse problems.

A source also discussed Tori and McDermott's relationship amid their divorce, which many originally expected to be contentious. They stated:
"It's not a volatile situation on either end, and things are actually pretty cordial between them. Their co-parenting situation is fine and continuing to get better."
Despite the insider's declarations, The Blast observed that Tori and McDermott's divorce proceedings took a different direction when the former's demands became public in March.
According to the report, Tori is pursuing physical custody of their children alongside a request for spousal support. There was no mention of a prenuptial agreement in the documents filed by the "Spelling It Like It Is" author.
