Tori Spelling Hints '90210' May Not Be Over Despite Fox Cancelling Reboot
Tori Spelling is giving fans of ‘90210’ hope the show may go on despite FOX cancelling the reboot after one season.
The network released a statement announcing they are not bringing “BH90210” back. They said, “"We are so proud to have reunited in a very special summer event one of the network’s legacy series and casts with 90210 fans across the country. Profound thanks to and respect for Brian [Austin Green], Gabrielle [Carteris], Ian [Ziering], Jason [Priestley], Jennie [Garth], Shannen [Doherty] and Tori [Spelling], who, along with the entire crew and everyone at Fox and CBS Television Studios, poured their hearts and souls into this truly inventive and nostalgic revival."
Following the news both Tori and her costar, Brian Austin Green took to social media They appeared to believe the reboot could continue on at another network or streaming service.
Brian Austin Green posted a photo of the Peach Pit captioned, “When Fox picked up the show it was always billed as a summer event. Thanks to Fox we did 306 episodes of 90210 (9021bro can fact check that number) if the show gets picked up somewhere else we will talk about making more but thank you to all the fans that kept the dream alive and supported us for so long :)))"

The reboot was co-created by Tori and Jennie Garth and premiered to huge ratings, which declined as the season progressed.
According to the reports, Gabrielle Carteris, Shannen Doherty, Jason Priestley, Brian Austin Green and Ian Ziering’s contracts paid them $70,000 per episode for the reboot.
The report claimed those five cast members will pull in around $420,000 for the first season. Tori and Jennie were paid an additional $15,000 each episode for their producing fees. Priestley also directed one episode and was paid an additional $46,000.
Back in September, Tori teased a second season on finale night. She wrote, “Tonight is First Season FINALE of @bh90210 on @foxtv at 9/8central This has been quite a journey for all of us ( 30 years in the making...) See tonight WHY you’ll want a season 2!”
