Cirque du Soleil’s Bazzar: Through the use of break dancing, live music, teeter board, tightrope, balancing acts, bicycles, spinning wheels, aerial work, fire and more, colorfully dressed Cirque du Soleil characters bring the “bazzar” world together as one. Fiesta Day: A variety of vendors and organizations highlight cultural foods, arts and crafts, specialty products and information along Seventh Avenue. Live entertainment will be presented on the Fiesta Stage in Centro Ybor. At 2 p.m., a Promenade of Flags, led by the Hillsborough High School Drum Band, will march down Seventh Avenue, honoring the countries that have made Ybor City what it is today. Gasparilla Classic: Nearly 6,000 male and female gymnasts from around the globe compete in seven gyms set up on the baseball field. Black Love Classics Series: The third annual classic film series takes on a Faith, Food and Family theme. This portion features “Daughters of the Dust” (1991) (PG) (113-minutes). In the historical drama, members of an enslaved family are forced to decide if they’ll stay on their isolated island, or move to a more modern way of living on the mainland.
