Gulfport Gecko Crawl: The annual Gecko Crawl ushers in “Gecko Season” in Gulfport with drinks at various locations, a poker run and an after-party in The Village Courtyard. Dog Swim Day: The annual event gives dogs a chance to cool off in the water. There are two sessions, and no advance registration is required, though there are a few rules. There are two time slots: 9:30-11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Must have proof of vaccinations. Countdown Improv Festival: This event features performances by dozens of solo, duo and trio improv comedians. Tampa Bay Rays: This week, the Tampa Bay Rays face the Cleveland Guardians. The following is a list of special events and promotions.
