'Top Gear' Alums Quizzed While Racing Through the Desert on ‘Late Late Show’

Top Gear alums Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May took a break from filming their new show, The Grand Tour, to join James Corden and The Late Late Show in the Mojave Desert for some good old fashioned dangerous fun. They each took a turn around a winding racetrack while Corden quizzed them about a myriad of subjects ranging from mathematics to O.J. Simpson. Each incorrect answer added a second to their time.

Clarkson went first, taking every turn as fast as possible while Corden attempted to ask questions. Most of Clarkson’s answers were correct until Corden was asked whether or not he missed Top Gear. Clarkson didn’t give a straight answer.

May went next, and it didn’t seem like Clarkson or Hammond were too worried about losing to him. Clarkson wondered aloud if the rock he held in his hand would erode before May got back.

As Hammond was finishing his lap, Corden asked something he probably should have asked all of them before deciding to do this bit.

“What is your worst driving habit?” Corden asked. Hammond replied, “Crashing. I always do.”
