It’s that spoooOOOooky time of year again when The Simpsons chill us and thrill us with another Treehouse of Horror! This year’s trilogy of terror was the 27th Treehouse and 600th episode of the cartoon that just won’t die. #5. Nightmare on Evergreen Terrace
Treehouse of Horror VI (1995)

A Freddy Krueger spoof is a great place to start as The Simpsons routinely lampoon horror movie classics. This one also has two of the most memorable Homer lines of all time.

#4. The Bart Zone
Treehouse of Horror II (1991)

The Treehouse often features Twilight Zone parodies and this one is arguably the best. After eating too much candy, Bart has a nightmare that he has psychic abilities that he naturally uses for evil. And the truly bone-chilling ending leaves Bart screaming bloody murder.

Treehouse of Horror V (1994)

Would Stanley Kubrick be honored by this homage to his only foray into the horror genre? Who cares! This caricature will always make us “GO CRAZY? Don’t mind if I do!”

If nothing else the little diddy by Lisa and Paul Anka will never leave our brains, and this story made all of our gigantic donut dreams come true.
