Top 5 things to do this weekend in Naples, Bonita: Free concert, TheatreZone comedy

As season winds down, there's still plenty of things to do in Southwest Florida.

What's happening in March? Check out our events calendar to find out more of what's going on. If you missed one of the many art festivals so far this year, fear not. There's more this month, along with free concerts in downtown Naples, on Marco Island and at other venues.

5. Free concert in Naples on Sunday

The Naples Dixieland Jazz Band performs 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 10, in Cambier Park, Sixth Avenue South and Eighth Street South. Final concert of season is April 21. Please bring lawn chairs. All concerts free but donations are greatly appreciated and needed. More at naplesjazzsociety.com.

4. Calusa Walk is Saturday in Bonita Springs

The Southwest Florida Archaeological Society is offering a Calusa Walk on March 9 part of Florida’s Archaeology Month. On the mile walk, participants will learn about Florida’s Native American history from more than 8,000 years ago. $20 per person in advance or $25 day of. Participants will meet before 10 a.m. at the Liles Hotel in Riverside Park, 27300 Old 41 Road, Bonita Springs. swflarchaeology.org

3. Spring Home & Garden Show in East Naples

At the 19th Semi-Annual Spring Home & Garden Show, attendees will have the opportunity to meet contractors, remodelers and other home specialists to help them understand their living-space needs. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. March 8 and 9 at New Hope Event Center, 7675 Davis Blvd., Naples. The musical comedy Neil Simon’s “Little Me” follows a girl born into humble standings striving to gain wealth and status by any means necessary. 1. Bonita Fest returns for second year

The second Bonita Fest is from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Riverside Park, 10451 Old 41 Road, Bonita Springs. The festival will include live music, food trucks, and local business exhibitions. Admission is free. Event proceeds will be donated to the Rotary Club of Bonita Beach Sunset and the Northside Naples Kiwanis Club. @goatsofbonita on Facebook.
